
Drainage decides how long an expressway lasts. Poorly drained embankments erode, pavements fail early, and maintenance costs multiply. That is why drainage and slope protection works are among the most consequential packages on any highway program.
On the Lucknow–Kanpur Expressway, our scope covered 45 km of shoulder drain, 5 km of box drain, 10 km of chute drain, 52 rainwater harvesting structures and around 2 lakh sqm of geocell and coir mate slope protection. On the Delhi–Vadodara Expressway packages, we delivered median and shoulder drains alongside precast gap slab panels and approach slabs.
Advance Drain system changes the economics of this work. Casting drains in a controlled means better quality control, faster slope protection and far less dependence on weather windows. Installation crews then place finished units in sequence — keeping pace with the mainline works instead of holding them up.
For concessionaires, the result is simple: drainage packages that finish on schedule and perform for decades. It is a capability we continue to invest in coir mate and geocell and any new technology in infrastructure to trained Drainage system of expressways and Highways.
